Dancing Girls

Funny how when I have a day where I feel like getting things done, then we all tend to get things done, and conversely when I have a lazy day, we all have a lazy day. Today I had a good book that was calling my name and we all had a lazy day. The morning was actually quite productive with getting some cleaning done, and with the girls doing their spelling test and working on their science project. We had an extended lunch and chatted with Vijay (who also lives in the Baha’i centre) about corruption in the government and so on. The rest of the afternoon was spent reading and relaxing until it was time for English class.

In today’s class we played “telephone” where you whisper a message from one to the next and see if the message comes out the same. We had a few laughs with that. We also did a bit of dancing for the kids and they did some dancing and singing in their local language for us. It was a lot of fun as usual.
This evening we had a Baha’i meeting. There were about ten of us and Nadim and I were asked to tell some stories about our travels. We talked about meeting Baha’is in Vietnam and in Thailand and about the various projects that are going on. We ended our meeting with chai and cookies and of course Nadim who is famous for his group pictures had to include that as part of the evening as well!
