There were ten tiers to the waterfall. The hiking was pretty easy. In fact the path was paved for most of he way. Of course there were lots of steps, but they weren't even too steep.
We stopped to dip our feet in some pools of water around the fifth tier. Yasmin was so glad that she could get in the water. Her foot is healing nicely. We let her splash in the water for a bit, but not too long (doctor's orders).
Around the seventh tier Roya seemed tired, so Nadim decided to take her back down. Poor thing doesn't have much energy. I hope we didn't overdo it with her. Yasmin and I climbed to the 10th tier and enjoyed the hike. There is some interesting vegetation here. The gnarled old tree/vine above was kind of interesting.
After our hike, Yasmin and I walked in the shallow waters around one of the falls. The water was quite clear, but the sandy bottom made it look brownish. We thought about taking a swim, but there were a lot of Thai people around and they are so modest that they swim in their clothes. We weren't so motivated and didn't want to make a spectacle of ourselves.
Roya is now sleeping. Her temperature was on the high end of the normal range, so I'm hoping she'll be okay tonight. Tomorrow we are flying to Krabi, in the south of Thailand. I'm sure lots of rest will help her. Early to bed tonight.
