Taking Rest

This morning Roya wasn't quite herself. Math sheets didn't seem to make sense at first, instructions seemed ambiguous, and Roya was in tears. We put it down to being over tired from yesterday's excitement, but we noted a low fever just before lunch. We had some medicine with us, and that seemed to help.

Roya seemed to be a little more tired than normal, but she didn't want to sleep and said she felt fine. She did mention that she wouldn't be up for visiting wats (temples), just in case we had that in mind! Instead the girls played "shop" with some of the paper money that we had made this morning as part of our math lesson.

We went down to the pool area and the girls read on the lounge chairs while we had a great chat with a retired Canadian couple who had been touring Thailand for the past month or so. It was nice to pass on some tips to them and gather some as well.

We had Thai food again for supper, but afterwards we went off to find dessert at a western style place. I had lemon meringue pie, Nadim had carrot cake, and the girls had a warm brownie. I love my sweets and Thai desserts just aren't the same! Now, it's off to bed early for the girls. Hopefully everyone will be feeling fine again in the morning.
