Class Connections

This is our last week in Yasothon. Before we leave, we wanted to put the class here in touch with some kids in Canada. That way we hope that our short time here will have a more lasting impact.

We contacted Yasmin and Roya's good friend Kendra and have managed to arrange for her class, also grade 5, back in Ottawa to write letters and draw pictures to send to the kids here. Last week we took a picture of one of the classes that we've been working with and today we took a picture of the other class. By the end of the week we should have a stack of drawings and messages to send to Kendra's class.

Tomorrow is another holiday - Constitution Day, so no English class for tomorrow. Later in the week we plan to do a cooking lesson with the grade 5 classes, so it should be a fun way to end our time with these students.
