Of course we had to go all the way to the third level (the top). It was pretty cold up there, but the view was great. It's amazing how far you can see. Paris is huge!
After the tower we made our way to the Sacre Coeur church. The stained glass inside is beautiful, but we weren't allowed any pictures. We lit a candle and had a look at the inside of the church before we strolled around to Montmartre.
Montmartre is known for its many artists. Some of the paintings are very good, while others were not to my taste. We were tempted to have Yasmin and Roya sit for a picture, but in the end decided against it - too hard to pack into a suitcase.
We had dinner at Sabine's house again. She and Matthieu have us spoiled with delicious dinners. Nadim loves the selection of cheeses that always follow the main meal.
It was another late night. The French eat quite late and of course they like to take their time with it so it is again after midnight that we are getting into bed! Feels like we're on vacation.
