Haircut & Cruise

After the usual routine of home-schooling and lunch we made our way to “Snip Salon & Spa”. Nadim had his hair buzzed and I had mine done too. We both feel like new people!

We browsed around town a bit. Panjim actually keeps its sidewalks free of vendors and motorbikes so it’s comfortable to stroll the streets.

Yasmin and Roya seem to take after their mother. They love shoes too! Who could resist these pairs of golden slippers? Perhaps we should be calling them Cinderella one and two now.

Later we took a boat ride along the river. The best part for the girls was that they had entertainment and dancing. The girls had a great time showing off their moves.

We did a little dancing too, but also enjoyed the view. The sun was just setting as we got off the hour-long cruise.

The weather seemed a little cooler today, or perhaps it was just that we went into a few air conditioned shops and there was a breeze on the river. In any case we’re ending the day feeling much less drained from the heat than we did the previous few days. Thank God for small miracles.
